MOBILE TELEMATICS FOR MOTORWAY ROADWORK ZONES

It is very frustrating to be caught in long traffi c congestions. In addition to „standard” safety solutions,
temporarily installed mobile Intelligent Transportation Systems can help ease the frustration and prevent
traffi c incidents. The paper deals with presentation of the mobile telematics solution designed and
practically tested in the motorway network of the Czech Republic. The authors introduce the system
design and present some of the results, key fi ndings and recommendations resulting from the fi eld test.

MOBILNA TELEMATYKA DLA STREF ROBÓT DROGOWYCH
NA AUTOSTRADZIE

Utknięcie w długich korkach na drodze jest bardzo frustrujące. Oprócz „standardowych” rozwiązań bez-
pieczeństwa, tymczasowo zainstalowane mobilne Inteligentne Systemy Transportu mogą pomagać
w rozładowaniu frustracji i zapobieganiu incydentom w ruchu. Artykuł przedstawia mobilne rozwiąza-
nie telematyczne zaprojektowane i przetestowane praktycznie na sieci autostrad w Republice Czeskiej.
Autorzy przedstawiają konstrukcję systemu i niektóre wyniki, kluczowe stwierdzenia oraz zalecenia wy-
nikające z testów w terenie.
