TOYOTA’S DRIVING REVOLUTION

W artykule przedstawiono innowacyjny system napędowy samochodu Toyota Mirai. Omówiono ko-
rzyści płynące z korzystania z silnika napędzanego wodorem: oszczędności, ekologię i niezawodność.
Przedstawiono budowę oraz technologie zastosowane w silniku. Badania przeprowadzone przez To-
yotę wykazały duże zainteresowanie na tą technologię oraz duże szanse na dynamiczny rozwój.

REWOLUCJA NAPĘDOWA TOYOTY

The article presents the innovative drive system of the Toyota Mirai. The benefi ts of using a hydrogen-
-powered engine are discussed: savings, ecology and reliability. The construction and technologies used
in the engine are presented. Research conducted by Toyota has shown great interest in this technology
and great chances for dynamic development.
